Recipes :: GreensChard 1-2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped Cut the stalks from the chard and chop up the stalks and leaves separately. Saute the garlic, chopped chard stalks and onion in olive oil for about 1 minute, but don't let it get brown. Add the chopped chard and on low heat, saute for a few minutes, turning the chard so it gets well mixed. Add the chopped tomatoes, put on very low heat and cover. Check it a few times to make sure it isn't drying out, you may need to add some water. When the chard is tender after just a few minutes, it is done. Add salt and pepper to taste.
