Our educational programs are open to members and the public. They play a critical role in our campaign to raise awareness of sustainable agricultural practices in the Albuquerque area.
In 2012, we joined up with Bernalillo County Open Space (and the Gutierrez-Hubbell House Alliance) to offer the Backyard Farming Workshop Series. In addition, we will offer hands-on workshops at the farm on topics such as Biodynamics, Bee Keeping, Making Cheese and more. Please see our calendar of events for more information.
If you live locally, you may apply for one of our work-trade positions. Work-trade is a great way of getting involved and learning with a minimal weekly time commitment.
Farm Camp, entering its fourth season, has engaged our youth in all aspects of agriculture. Milking a goat, making cheese, planting, harvesting, canning and munching are just a few of the ways that we learn together on the farm! This season we hope to offer four weeks of hands on programming for school-aged children 6–12.
